If you have read some of my older posts then you know that I originally ordered my batteries and other stuff from EV Components. There is ongoing legal action and it is moving at a snail's pace. Therefore I decided that I wasn't going to wait any longer and so I placed a new battery order and now I have received those:
I ordered these from Elite Power Solutions, and I have to say I was very impressed with the service. They stocked the batteries I wanted, gave what I thought was a good price, and were extremely responsive to my email inquiries. The batteries were shipped the day I placed my order and I received them in two days.
Here are some more photos of the unboxing:
My original order to EV Components also included a charger, a Manzanita PFC20, but I am not going to receive that so no matter how the legal action turns out I have to buy another charger. This time I decided on the Elcon PFC 3K. I have to say, this was mainly a money decision. The Elcon is about $1000 less that the Manzanita, and it will operate from a range of input voltage. The opinions expressed on various sites seem generally positive for this charger so I decided to use it. This charger apparently is sold under several brand names so you might see a charger that looks like this with a brand other than "Elcon".
I bought the charger from Evolve Electrics. Again, they were very responsive to my email inquiries, and shipped the charger right away despite telling me it would be 3-5 days before they could ship it.
Here is a poor photo of the charger:
